Coexistence in Contrast - It was a dream for me to capture the tiger near the Gopalpur lake in Bandhavgarh with Algae deposit. While we were spending the time with the tiger taking a nap under late morning sun, the peacock came near the lake and started drinking while suddenly the tiger woke as as it sensed the presence of a deer heard far in the bushes and took a crouching position ready for the hunt if the prey decides to come near the water, all the while a nonchalant peacock was calmly taking its sip.

The Art of the Backwaters As I embarked on a boat safari through the tranquil waters of the Bhadra Wildlife Sanctuary backwaters, my eyes were set on a rare and elusive sight — the black panther that had been frequenting these shores during the summer months. But as the boat gently moved away from the shoreline, the forest revealed a different kind of magic. The search for the unseen slowly gave way to the beauty that was right in front of me. The trees rising from the backwaters were alive with colonies of cormorants, transforming the landscape into a scene of quiet wilderness and harmony. Each tree stood as a unique masterpiece, shaped by time, water, and the elements. Every silhouette carried its own story — an intricate artwork sculpted by nature itself. I stopped searching for the black panther and began witnessing the poetry of the forest. Among these natural sculptures, one tree stood apart. Bathed in golden rays of sunlight, with layers of the dense forest forming a mystical backdrop, it appeared almost like a painting emerging from the wilderness. The still waters, the ancient trees, the distant forest, and the soft embrace of light created a moment that felt timeless — surreal, peaceful, and heavenly. This frame reminded me that the true beauty of our jungles is not always found in the rarest sightings, but in the countless quiet moments where nature reveals its extraordinary artistry. The forest is not just a place to discover wildlife; it is a living canvas where every tree, every shadow, and every ray of light tells a story.

Tigress on fallen log… Our final safari of the Pench tour began like any other, but Turiya Gate had one last story to tell. And then she appeared. A tigress, calm yet commanding, stepping onto a fallen log as if it were her throne. She marked her territory with effortless authority, stretched like she owned the forest’s rhythm, sharpened her claws on the bark, and gave us a sighting straight out of a dream. Moments later, she disappeared into the bushes silent, graceful, wild. Pench, you breathtaking beauty. This forest never gives points easily, but when it does, it leaves you in awe for a lifetime.
