AK Photography | Bangalore. Capturing wildlife, travel, candid etc with eye-catching visuals.
Capturing this moment felt like pure luck. An Osprey settling down to eat its catch in front of the world’s largest ISKCON temple at Mayapur, while boats drifted gently along the Ganga below. The Ganga has always offered space and life to countless wild creatures, whether in its deep waters or along its riverbanks, and the Osprey is one of its most striking visitors. This was my first visit to Purbasthali in Nadia district, and my very first sighting of an Osprey. To witness it here, in such a setting, and to frame this image on my first encounter, I truly felt lucky.

I’m Ayan Biswas from Helencha, West Bengal. For me, wildlife photography is more than just a passion. My deepest interest lies in observing animal behavior, emotions, and survival instincts in their natural environment. Through my lens, I try to give a voice to the voiceless, a call to protect what’s still wild and untouched.
Captured in the wilderness of Kaziranga National Park, Assam, this image portrays the Great Indian One-Horned Rhinoceros walking along the forest edge, framed by soft morning light and the gentle hues of nature. Known for its prehistoric appearance and resilience, the rhino stands as a living relic of India’s wild heritage. This moment reflects the perfect harmony between strength and calm — a silent march through the timeless grasslands of Kaziranga.

Motherhood - A perspective image captures a mesmerizing, almost cosmic view of a spider web, illuminated in ethereal blue light. The delicate threads stretch and overlap like a floating galaxy of silk, creating layers of shimmering patterns against the dark background. Near the center, a mother spider rests on its woven structure, adding emotional connect with infant.

Calm beast Out in the open meadows of Bandipur National Park, this moment unfolded so quickly that I almost didn’t believe my own eyes. We had just rounded a bend when the alarm calls echoed through the forest—sharp, urgent notes from the chital. That’s when I spotted him: a leopard stepping out of the lantana thickets, calm and confident, as if he owned every inch of that clearing. I kept the vehicle still and lifted my camera without making a sound. The key was to anticipate his path, not chase it. The chital herd froze behind him, their eyes wide and alert, creating a natural tension in the frame. I wanted to show that story—predator and prey sharing the same space, each fully aware of the other. I framed wide to include both the leopard in motion and the chital watching from the background. The light was soft, filtered through Bandipur’s monsoon clouds, helping bring out the rich greens of the meadow and the leopard’s striking coat. All I had to do was wait for that perfect stride—head low, muscles coiled, tail balanced. One press of the shutter, and the whole drama of Bandipur’s wild heart came together in a single frame.
