This was my first sight of the Indian Grey Wolf, a species I wanted to see for a long time! But that morning drive was unusual. There was a lot of sudden fog out of nowhere, and it showed no sign of leaving! Instead of Velavadar feels, it actually gave the feeling of a cold winter morning in Bharatpur! Despite that, my first sight of this ghost of the grassland, drenched in the wetness of cold morning, was a sight to behold!

Nature's Dance in Magical Rays: A heartwarming sight greeted me as I beheld the forest veiled in a gentle blanket of fog. The soft golden rays of the early morning sun danced through the layers of the landscape, casting enchanting shadows that added depth and magic to the scene. From Nilgiris , Tamilnadu on April 2022

'STEAL-A-DEAL' Fortunate to capture this frame as I was wandering the waters of Mangalajodi Wetlands, Odisha in December 2023. A catch by the Grey Heron turned into an opportunity for the Brahminy Kite to steal. But it soon turned into a duel. No one was ready to give up.

Harmony! The harmonious relation between Barasingha and common myna is a simple yet incredible example of sustainable forest life and the species that live tunefully. These curious pair of mynas were seen enjoying a feast of ticks, insects from the furry coat of swamp deer and perhaps providing a spa treatment to the latter in chorus. This scene was observed during the morning golden hour in the lush green grasslands of Kanha National Park.

Sloth bear are unique to the Indian Sub Continent captured in a moment of serenity in the heart of Bandipur National Park , its eye reflecting the wisdom of ages past. Its snout, perfectly adapted for probing the earth in search of termites and ants, speaks of a delicate balance in nature—a balance that is increasingly under threat. As civilization encroaches upon the wilderness, the habitat of the sloth bear diminishes, leaving it vulnerable to the whims of human progress.
