Indian Peafowl in full display of its magnificent train to a bewildered spotted deer. Captured at Kanha National Park, India, May 2023. We were on a hot summer morning safari in the Mukki zone and were waiting patiently for Dhawajhandi Tigress to emerge with her cubs. Meanwhile, this peacock was incessantly displaying its train of feathers to this spotted deer who was going about its business without much amusement. It was a very unique interaction that I was fortunate to capture.

Witness the enchanting moment captured in this photograph, where nature's drama unfolds. A Sceliphron wasp, a solitary architect of mud nests, takes to the air, its wings ablur. Gripped firmly in its stinger, a motionless spider dangles, a testament to the wasp's hunting prowess. This image embodies the delicate harmony of nature, as the vigilant wasp ensures balance by controlling spider populations. With grace and purpose, it transports its prey towards the nurturing embrace of its nest, sustaining its own lineage. In this fleeting scene, we glimpse the profound beauty of nature's interconnectedness. The predator-prey relationship, eternally intertwined, reminds us of the intricate choreography of survival. Location - Goalpara, Assam.

BEHIND-THE-STORY : This was one of my memorial trip to Corbett tiger reserve during summers and like some other days, it was also a normal day in my life doing wildlife photography . Generally I love big cats but that day in my heart wished to do something different and i wanted to photograph elephant with calf in evening golden hours , so i told my driver and guide. They said to me: "sir don't say like this because today we heard from lot of guides saying that tiger sight is happening and they give brilliant shots to Photographers". But i said no and told them that i just want elephant so they drove me to that area and said there is no elephant we have to go for tiger sighting but i stopped him and say we have to wait , and then the patience game started , slowly time was running out and it was very difficult to wait in one spot and due to summer temperature was 40° celsius. We waited more than 2 hours and we all were tired. They continuously said sir we should go, the elephant will not come but i had a feeling for that and finally elephant came but i was surprised that it didn't come alone. I saw elephant walking with her calf and she protected her. It was a really eye memesrising moment for me to see this after waiting so long and it was really worth to wait . Then a moment of life came when elephant was walking and that calf was between her legs only her face and Trunk were visible and then i clicked the photograph with my Nikon D500 without wasting any more time.

This is how i’d like to see a Tiger, in it’s natural habitat. This was a young male too young and playful. The reason this boy reached the fallen tree was to attempt catching a Cormorant which was basking on the tree. The sighting lasted for almost half an hour till the dusk. Shot at Nagarhole Tiger Reserve, Karnataka, India.
