Blue-tailed bee-eater You know, being colorful is sometime becomes a curse. The insect was so colorful that the Blue-tailed bee-eater chose it as it's prey. It was quite big for the small bird but you know predator are predators, no matter what's the size. It was scorching hot outside and this Blue-tailed bee-eater was busy to find it's food. All on a sudden I heard some metallic sound of closing something. I turned my head I found that yes it's the sound of the beak of Blue-tailed bee-eater fetching it's food. It was trying to rearrange the position so that it can swallow it properly. I was really luck to the nature to witness this small natural phenomenon.

When your Elder sister fills the role of mother The sun beat down on Tadoba, like a giant tiger itself, baking the ground. Under a skinny tree near a lake, Shiva, a young cub, flopped down, tired of the heat. His fur, all gold stripes, looked almost wavy in the hot air. As evening came, a big tigress stepped out of the bushes. Nayanthara, Shiva's big sister, moved quiet and strong, like a hunter should. Her yellow eyes, worried like a mom's, saw her brother sleeping. A low sound, soft but bossy, woke Shiva up. He blinked, confused for a bit, then his green eyes lit up. He swished his tail, happy to see his sister, the one who always kept him safe and showed him the way. Nayanthara, always looking out for him, nudged him towards the lake. The hot day made them thirsty, and their wild instincts craved cool water. Knowing each other without words, like only siblings can, they walked to the water. Nayanthara put her head down and drank deeply, the way she always did. Every move she made showed how much she knew about the wild, like a lesson for Shiva. He tried to copy her, but being a cub, he splashed a bit more. As they drank, they felt close. The lake, with the colors of the ending day in it, looked like a painting of their silent bond. Nayanthara, strong from years in the wild, was there to protect him no matter what. Shiva, almost grown up but still young, looked up to her in a way that only a little brother can. Right there, by the lake, under the soft light of the coming night, a story of strong love between siblings played out in the wild.

butterflies have been very important part of my photography career. as when i started photography i used to visit my local parks and grass fields with my camera and kit lens. and i captured so many images of butterflies. but one thing was different in all my images that i noticed, rather than capturing closeups and macro, i loved capturing butterflies with their habitat. it allowed me to see a different perspective. as in this image you see how including the surrounding habitat can make this butterfly stand out
