Captured during an evening safari in the lush forests of Kabini, Karnataka, India. We wait for a herd of Elephants to cross our path to reach a water body and to our surprise we see this Single Tusker emerging from the verdant foliage, this majestic creature stands as a testament to the rich biodiversity and natural wonders of the region. And as mentioned in a famous quote 'No one in the world needs an Elephant tusk but an Elephant', let's spread the word and awareness to save these mighty creature.

Last attempt to stay alive, Montagu's harrier female caught zitting cisticola bird and perched in front of us. Harrier started removing feathers of prey. It looked like small bird is dead. But suddenly there was movement and small bird tried to fly out of harrier's grip. It was a last attempt to stay alive for it. Since harrier had already injured it and broken few wings it could not fly much distance and harrier caught it again.

Changeable Hawk Eagle is one of the most fearsome raptors out there. This image was clicked in Kaziranga forest, Assam in the year 2024. It was a dull day with not much to click and I was a bit bogged down. Then Suddenly my eyes suddenly fell on a tree top and I witnessed this majestic creature staring fearlessly at me with a Red Jungle Fowl kill. A truly natural history moment and a treat to the eyes.

Fear and Agony! The courtship behaviour during a false mating between the determined Sharmili tigress and the colossal Pattawala male tiger emanated mysterious puzzles. While the female after one of the mating round tried her way to break free, the humongous male crossed her path with furious snarls to display his dominance. Mother tigress have great determination and grit to protect their cubs from the intruding non resident males. It was a blessing and privilege to witness and understand this action packed magical drama unfold in the lush green higher banks of a river stream in the mukki zone of Kanha National Park.
