It was last day of our 4days Sundarban trip of Oct 22. I started from where I left off yesterday. Many calculations were going on in the mind, trying to check mate the King . As the tide receded, our tally began and we found a pug mark.we turned around, wondering if it was yesterday or the day before.Suddenly Babu Da was standing in the next canal looking excitedly. It was not difficult for us to understand, as soon as we moved on, we saw that the tiger had come through the canal between us and Babu da. In this trip the tiger is defeating us again and again with its own intelligence. But we are humans, nature's best intelligent creatures, we cannot be defeated. The wait began. But fooling our experience,he went quite deep and move forward . Our mind and sky were covered with black clouds, torrential rain started. I entered Choragazi Creek to escape from the rain, because it is a small creek. The rain stopped and it was more than 3hours waiting. Our patience and the tiger's will have become complementary. But Suddenly the frightened call of the deer increased our excitement, as soon as the call of the deer slow down, we realized that the tiger had moved on, we finger crossed and saw a yellow stripe coming out of the black rain-soaked weep hole. He was walking as the shutter of the camera. On the way, he may said in a momentary glance, "I am the king of this jungle, this is my empire, here I am the question ... I am the answer." I accepted my defeat in my heart and said "Hail Your Majesty"

The beauty of Dhikala! A big herd of elephants was by the riverside in the afternoon at a distance. One by one, all of them made their way back into the thick forest except this duo. At the very end, they got up and walked past at close distance giving us a good opportunity to get portrait shots. This was the highlight of my trip to Corbett. DOP 7th April'23

Long leg Buzzard with Kill. Saw this beauty in action for the very first time in Bikaner. Quick In flight, the long-legged buzzards look like a mid-sized raptor. Possessing an almost eagle-like silhouette, it tends to appear with a protruding head with a somewhat heavy bill, long broad wings with fairly straight edges and only slightly tapering hands with rounded five-fingered end.
