About Photographer
I am an autodidact photographer with good patience and passion towards nature. The journey of photography started with a beginner's camera exploring the aesthetics of nature. Initiated with the love of nature then turned into passion for wildlife photography without my knowledge.
Photography led me to learn and explore the habitats of species in nature and to explore the locations for specific species. I enjoy my passion and love being a part of nature.
This picture was shot at Bharatpur this year. My first visit to this beautiful place. At the Dusk we were waiting at the sunset point where around 50-60 people were waiting to shot a darter with the Golden Sun in the background. I also shot some picture but suddenly saw a mother and her cub far away from the darter. Quickly I changed my gear and shot this beautiful moment. It was magnificent to watch the moment as mother was cleaning her cub with the Golden light in the background .

That moment of adrenaline rush. We saw one of the dominant male at a distance starring at us. He soon disappeared in a area filled with tall grass. Moment later we could see his head bent down and walking towards us, as he appeared our eyes were stuck with awe, he had a deer kill and was dragging it along to get to his safe place. What an amazing sight it was

In a sunny afternoon of April, A Sambar family was enjoying their meal among lush green grasses , surrounded by a tranquil water body of Ranthambhore National Park, Zone 4. The queen of Zone 4 Shakti (T111) came quietly by hiding herself amongst the bushes and behind the palm and blueberry trees. Without giving a moment for alarm call, Shakti took just 3 big jump attempts and caught a mother deer with her paws, pinning her sharp canines in the neck and drag inside the forest. Losing mother, the fawn ran away and life goes as per it's rule.
About Photographer
I've started my photography journey in 2010 with a Powershot camera. Promoted with a Dslr, I photographed almost everything like street, portrait, landscape and finally I found myself satisfied in Wildlife photography. I clicked both birds and Mammals; their habitat, activities - everything that mesmerize myself. I've visited several hill regions, grasslands, wetlands, Desert and National Parks in search of beautiful wildlives. I collect memory and try to present them as a photograph to the World for delight.
This was taken in Chambal river sanctuary. In a evening boat safari while I was capturing moments of Indian skimmer, I observed a crocodile with the jaws open and a skimmer just behind its opened mouth. I tried to focus on the jaws of the crocodile in a low angle so that the skimmer fits into the jaws. Though the bird is not a known prey to the crocodile , I just wanted to depict the danger jaws.

On a cool February morning, we heard a solitary spotted deer alarm call which brought us to the trail along Mallik Lake. The place was part of the territorial war between sisters Riddhi, Siddhi and their mother Arrowhead. We had heard from our guide that Riddhi had been hurt in the fights and had a cut over her left ear and on her tongue. She was probably up walking the whole night, scent-marking around the area. Tired, she yawned and showed us her deadly teeth and her battle-scarred tongue. A truly memorable experience!!!
