In April we were walking a forest trail in chinnar wildlife sanctuary, and we saw this Brown Fish Owl flew and perched on a tree. As I positioned to get its picture, It turned its gaze right at me and I clicked a few decent pics before it flew. While I reviewed this pic on the system, I found that a wasp had driven its stinger right in the Owls eye. This shot was taken with Sony A6700+ FE 200-600MM GOSS SETTINGS: ISO 1000 FOCAL LENGTH: 900mm EXPOSURE VALUE: -0.7ev APERTURE: F6.3 SHUTTER: 1/500 s

In the heart of Gir National Park, I witnessed a raw moment of wilderness. One lioness lets out a mighty yawn—echoing the rhythm of a slow golden morning—while the other walks forward with regal grace. Their bond is silent, their strength unmistakable, and their presence commands respect. This frame reflects both the power and elegance of the Asiatic lion, a symbol of Gujarat’s wild soul. Captured in natural light, untouched and untamed—this moment speaks louder than a roar.

|| WHISTLE BLOWER || As a Lesser Whistling Duck pair engage in an intimate moment, few started shouting at top of their voice.
Opportunistic Hunter: Leopards are basically opportunistic hunters, meaning they’ll devour almost anything with flesh on it. Granted, they prefer medium sized antelopes like impalas, deer, wild pigs, monkeys and rodents. When it sights its target, the leopard slowly and stealthily stalks forward. The animal’s head is low, and its legs are bent. The leopard is a master at camouflage and always tries to make clever use of cover. Here a leopard with a fresh kill of spotted deer photographed at Ranthambore National Park, India in the month of May 2022.

I am head over heels in love with the jungles spanning over the length and breadth of India and totally mesmerized by how each jungle has a offering of its own. From the breathtaking meadows engulfed amidst the evergreen Sal trees of Kanha to the Dry Deciduous Dhonk trees of Ranthambhore, the shear excitement of capturing the Fauna in these amazing backdrops is something that attracts me to visit these place every time I get an opportunity.
