“Guardians of the Sacred Hills” In the heart of Jawai’s rugged wilderness, nature and spirituality coexist in striking harmony. This evocative silhouette captures the elusive F3 female leopard standing gracefully beneath the natural arch of acacia trees, her vigilant gaze scanning the horizon. Just above her, perched silently on a boulder, the outline of her cub is barely visible—learning from the shadows, absorbing the stillness. To the right stands a solitary temple crowned with a towering trishul, a symbol of divine strength and protection. The scene resonates with a quiet reverence—where the wild roams free under the watch of the sacred. It’s a moment that blurs the boundary between the earthly and the spiritual, reminding us that in places like Jawai, every rock tells a story, and every shadow holds a soul.

"Long way to go " Presenting Tigress Boro Maa and her present cubs. The cubs were following her mother footprint as the Tigress was crossing the canel and the cubs also have to.In Sundarban tiger cubs with her mother in a one frame itself is a Jackpot because usually they were very shy. But this time they came out and follow her mother as they know that they are the future and for their survival they have to believe her mother and follow her. Because there are long way to go. In foggy morning of March 2025 I saw fresh footprint of this Tigress in Sundarban Tiger reserve (Indian part). As I track this tigress for last one year. In the Jan 2025 I saw her with cubs first time. By the gress of the Queen she give first look to me with her cub in the park. As per our traking you confirmed the tigress Boro Maa and her cubs were a small island. As per her nature I am quite confirmed that she will came out . So I was waiting .After some time the moment came. The Queen came out from the jungle with her small cubs. The mud bank, blue water, foggy light and the mother and cubs, altogether made a dream of heaven. All the photographers dream was this frame of Sundarban, and it was happening infornt to my eye. I told my boat made a proper distance for making comfortable to the mother for her cubs security. As a result cubs followed her mother footprint and crossed the canel. They are the future of Sundarban which is largest mangrove delta. "Long way to go " for them.

A Couple Race This picture was captured in a park in Nadia district of West Bengal sometime in February this year, where there were different types of flower plants specially rose, hibiscus, dahlia etc. I generally go there to capture the sunbirds and tailor birds. This is a Purple Sunbird couple who coincidentally went for the same flower and doing so it became a race to reach first. The female one reached just in time while the male one just crashed into her from behind. Its exactly that moment when the male crashed with the female from behind.

Game of Death (Jungle Cat vs. Monocellate Cobra) During a wildlife expedition to Kishanpur Wildlife Sanctuary, I spotted four majestic tigers. The next day in Dudhwa, after an uneventful safari, we drove through golden grasslands in silence. Suddenly, my guide stopped the vehicle—there was movement in the grass. Within minutes, I witnessed a rare spectacle: a jungle cat facing off with a monocellate cobra. The cat dragged the snake onto the mud road, and a fierce 20-minute duel began. The agile cat struck swiftly while dodging the cobra’s venomous lunges. Eventually, it triumphed—subduing and devouring the cobra. This dramatic encounter reminded me of nature’s unpredictability and the jungle cat’s adaptability across diverse habitats. A quiet safari ended in an unforgettable lesson in survival and strength. Location: Dudhwa Tiger Reserve Date/Time: May 2025

Breaking the silence. As the Western marsh harrier approached, targeting one lone Eurasian coot from the flock, the birds responded in perfect synchrony. With a sudden flurry of wings, each coot splashed the water fiercely, creating a chaotic wall of movement that confused the predator and kept it from getting any closer. Meanwhile, the other members of the flock remained silent and impatient, watching the scene unfold. When united, even the smallest creatures can defend themselves against a formidable threat. Photographer: Sayed Muzamil Location: Kabini, Karnataka, India Camera Details: Sony A7 Rii with Sony 200-600mm " Mirrors of the Wild" It was a hot and humid noon of summers at Kabini. We were waiting near a small water body for a leopard, when a family of deer slowly walked in. They moved gently, alert but calm, and leaned in to drink from the still water. For a moment, everything around us paused. Their reflections on the surface were clear and beautiful like a painting made by nature. But this peaceful scene also carried a message; a reminder that Water sources like these are lifelines in the forest. Every wild species depends on them. This photo is not just about beauty. It's a silent message: "When we protect water, we protect life".

About Photographer
Being a dentist by profession, my journey into wildlife photography began as a hobby, a way to unwind and reconnect with the wild. Over time, it evolved into something deeper. I've spent countless hours tracking animal behavior, studying natural habitats, and waiting for that moment when everything aligns into a perfect synchrony of light, action and emotion. For me, it's not just about creating beautiful images, it's about telling real, untamed stories and encouraging people to see the wild through a more captivating manner. Photography allows me to capture the natural world and share the magic, one frame at a time.
