In this picture, you can see a shikra near a plastic water bottle. This scene highlights a big problem in our environment. When plastic ends up in nature, it can harm birds and other wildlife species. They might mistake plastic for food and try to eat it, which can make them sick or even kill them. Plastic doesn’t break down easily, so it can stay in the environment for hundreds of years. As it breaks into smaller pieces, it can also enter the water and soil, affecting plants and other animals. This can disrupt the entire ecosystem, which is the community of living things that depend on each other. In simple terms, plastic pollution is like a chain reaction that starts with one piece of plastic and ends up hurting many living creatures, including birds. It’s important for us to reduce plastic use and clean up our environment to protect wildlife and keep our ecosystems healthy.
