Life beyond flames! The other side of the fire! In the vast expanse of grasslands of Kaziranga, this rhino was grazing contentedly, unaware of the distant glow of flames. As the fire crept closer, panic spread among the animals, but the rhino remained composed. Yet, the rhino remained calm, sensing the familiar scent of controlled chaos. The flames, though destructive, were nature's brushstroke, a necessary means to preserve the grassland's delicate balance. For the rhino, the fire was a cleansing force, halting the encroachment of thickets and forests, ensuring the continuation of its open habitat. With a steady resolve, the rhino continued to graze, trusting in the cycle of renewal.

In the heart of the enigmatic Sundarban Biosphere Tiger Reserve, nestled in the verdant landscapes of West Bengal, I embarked on a thrilling expedition in September 2024. Our quest was to capture the ethereal beauty of the mangrove forests and their elusive inhabitants. On the third day of our exploration, as we navigated the labyrinthine waterways, our guide's voice echoed with excitement: "Tiger! Tiger!" A collective gasp rippled through the boat as we joined a fleet of vessels converging on a distant riverbank. There, bathed in the midday sun, emerged the majestic Fuleshwari, a phantom Royal Bengal Tiger. With every powerful stride, the tiger commanded the river, its sleek form cutting through the water. As it disappeared into the dense mangrove forest, leaving behind a trail of ripples and awe, I was left humbled by the raw power and untamed beauty of this magnificent creature.
