We waited for 3+ hours in the same spot for the Tigress to wake up and put up a show... As the sun was about to set, the sunlight passes perfectly through the leaves and makes the scene look dramatic. Shot at Bandhavgarh National park.

THE MAJESTIC EMPEROR OF THE FAIRYLAND!! In my recent spring expedition (February, 2023) to Kaziranga National Park, after five days of patience & preservation, I finally got an amazing glimpse of the enigmatic ROYAL BENGAL TIGER in a fascinating ambiance embedded with full bloomed silk cotton trees. Very unexpectedly, the tiger appeared from a bush, side by. It took hardly two-three seconds to cross the safari trail & vanished thereafter. Controlling my adrenaline rush, luckily I somehow managed to freeze the beast in my camera. Undoubtedly this was like a ‘dream comes true’ moment for me. It was also very surprising & rare, as tiger tracking in the woodlands of Kaziranga is next to impossible because of the deep, tropical evergreen forests. Not only that, due to the presence of elephants, rhinos & water buffaloes, the tigers generally remained very shy there. So a lot of patience & luck is needed to encounter/photograph a tiger in a forest like this.
