Leap of Faith This was one frame in my bucket-list since years ! On my recent visit to Bhigwan, I noticed this bunch of black-bucks roaming around aimlessly on the grasslands. The day was nice and right and they were hopping around as usual. Suddenly this eldest of the lot decided to demonstrate this beautiful run-up and spring-jump so that his younger brothers and sisters could try ! I was ready with the moment and without wasting time captured the entire series without a flaw ! Equipment Used: Sony a1 +FE 400mm f2.8 GM OSS EXIF - ISO 100, f3.2, 1/4000

Caption:- THE MAGNIFICENT HUNTER IN FRAME! I spotted this gorgeous BRAHMINY KITE amidst the Indian part of Sundarbans Biosphere Reserve, the largest mangroves on the Earth. The Raptor was sitting on a lovely perch with a prized catfish catch. The Bird took almost twenty minutes to engulf the prey totally. This was a very rare and remarkable sighting in a harsh habitat like Sundarbans.

A Portrait of resilience . This particular Great Hornbill has been an inspiration for all the bird watchers and photographers visiting Mahananda Wildlife Santuary. She lost her upper bill few years back in a territorial fight. From then onwards her struggle began to look out for food. But miraculously she has survived and have acquired an amazing skill of plucking berries from the trees and tossing them with style.

About Photographer
Hello amazing people, this is Navonil. I would love to present myself as a Nature’s Visual Storyteller. I am from Kolkata, West Bengal, India. I love to enjoy, absorb and relish the pure magical beauty of Mother Nature. My aim has always been to portray nature's beauty and her creations. And to share our rich biodiversity with the people around and the need for its conservation. At present, I am currently pursuing my BTech in the field of Bioengineering from Vellore Institute Of Technology (VIT). love for nature and wildlife has developed since childhood. In my teenage years, I became a fan of the jungles and its wilderness as I read the books of Jim Corbett, Kenneth Anderson and Ruskin Bond. Slowly this love grew into a passion in the last few years. For that, I have chosen the camera as my medium of showcasing my love for Mother Nature and since 2016 I have started my humble journey of capturing the subtle beauty of nature and its wilderness.
