As the old jungle saying goes, if you enter a forest 100 times, you may see a tiger once or twice but a tiger would have seen you 99 times for sure. Seen here is a tigress from Bandhavgarh in early January of 2022. The dry grass and white ends of the grass provided a perfect camouflage for the ambush hunter. She was hungry as she was feeding her cubs too and all likely waiting for a prey when we spotted her.
