I had never seen a sloth bear climb up a tree and to make it more interesting, getting stuck on the tree ! Sloth bears though look clumsy are expert climbers and very agile on trees. However this fellow was trying to reach a bee hive and the moment we reached there, he looked at us and started getting down hastily, and in the process, got himself stuck in the fork of the branches ! It was very interesting to watch and funny at the same time ! Lucky that we got a moment where he stopped and gave us a look while sliding down. Exif: ISO 200, 1/2500, f2.8 Gear Used: Sony a1 and 400mm f2.8 GM OSS Location: Tadoba Andhari Tiger Reserve

The picture was taken in Spiti February 2022. I was on Snow Leopard Expedition and it was a snowy morning where the visibility was almost none. After spending good amount of time in search of snow leopard but failed to locate, we decide to change our location. While we are heading back I found this Himalayan Ibex below the ridge. I quickly point my camera towards him and got the shot of its horn as it seems it was rising above the snow.

Wildlife photography for me is not just about capturing the moments and new species but it's also about getting close to the nature, admiring it's beauty and understanding it's laws. Many a times I witnessed moments which melted my heart. It has always been tough for me to accept a predator with a kill but with time I'm learning to accept nature's laws. In this moment Neelam (the female leopard from Jawai, Rajasthan) was feasting on a kill and sight of her mouth soaked with fresh blood really terrified me.
