A leopard cat in the Indian Sundarbans enjoys the soft winter light on a mudflat. One of the lesser-known denizens of the mangroves, their sighting is considered rarer than that of the tiger on the landscape. As per reports, they are mainly confined to the mangroves of uninhabited islands, taking shelter in the hollows of trees. However, it frequently visits villages in search of poultry and often spends the day in bushes or on trees.

About Photographer
At the age of 50, I embarked on a new journey as an amateur photographer, driven by a lifelong love for nature. Each click of the camera became a testament to the beauty I had long admired. Beyond mere aesthetics, my photography became a call to action for environmental conservation. Through my lens, I sought to inspire others to cherish and protect our planet. In this newfound passion, I found solace and purpose, grateful for the opportunity to share nature's magnificence with the world.

Eyes of the Forest Vine snake, Amboli A green vine snake gracefully weaves through the branches, its emerald body blending seamlessly with the lush canopy. With eyes sharp and focused, it surveys its surroundings, every gaze capturing the essence of its environment. This master of camouflage moves silently, embodying the essence of the forest—calm, precise, and ever-watchful.
