His knack for sightings especially for big cats makes him an absolute asset to have when on safari. , Erwin has spent have spent 5 Years in Kanha National Park studying and understanding tiger behavior and now based in Satpura Tiger Reserve His passion for wildlife started early in life as he grew up in Jabalpur which is the entry point to many famous national parks like Kanha.He has been awarded the best Naturlist of the year 2023-2024 by Toft tiger It was his childhood dream to be a naturalist and expedition guide and now he has achieved what he dreamed about as a kid. Erwin spent considerable time in the wilderness ever since he was young, this brought him close to photography as well. His passion for photography enabled him to work with various filming teams in Kanha to make documentaries, this also helped him understand the flora and fauna of Central India better.

It serves as a powerful reminder of the constant struggle for survival, where every moment counts and only the fittest prevail. This rare and exhilarating picture of a grassland tiger chasing a nimble deer was captured during one of my safaris in Jim Corbett National Park, when a magnificent tiger emerged from the dense foliage, its eyes fixed on a fleet-footed deer. With my camera clutched firmly in my hands, I kept my focus steady, waiting for that perfect moment to freeze this heart-stopping chase in time. The chase was on, and my finger pressed the shutter, freezing the wild pursuit forever. The photograph itself is a masterpiece of nature's balance—a composition that reflects both the beauty and the brutality of the natural world, highlighting the predator-prey relationship that defines the circle of life.
