Jim Corbett National Park is a forested wildlife sanctuary in northern India’s Uttarakhand State. Rich in flora and fauna, it’s known for its Bengal tigers. Animals, including tigers, leopards and wild elephants, roam the Dhikala zone. Watching the Tiger with the beautiful landscape was experience of lifetime.

Serendipity - that would be the title of this picture. Black head ibises territorial fight. I was asking my boatman in Mangalajodi, do these black headed ibis-es ever fight? Having seen them operate mostly solo. And there it was, a territorial fight unfurled right before our eyes between 2 ibis-es. One trying to pin down the other. What a moment it was! Shot in Mangalajodi, Orissa, India. Feb 2023.
