"Crab a Deal" That's exactly what came in my mind when I witnessed this rare moment in Sunderban TR in the month of August, 2023. Floating around the channels and creeks all day yielded nothing much but witnessing this moment that too at the end of the day, was a deal breaker not only for me but I guess, for the Monitor Lizard as well.

About Photographer
I am an autodidact photographer with good patience and passion towards nature. The journey of photography started with a beginner's camera exploring the aesthetics of nature. Initiated with the love of nature then turned into passion for wildlife photography without my knowledge.
Photography led me to learn and explore the habitats of species in nature and to explore the locations for specific species. I enjoy my passion and love being a part of nature.
As I got into the coracle in Bheemeshwari, we spotted a marsh crocodile swimming by with only a bit of face visible above the water. I started taking pictures through my Mirrorless without much expectation of getting any spectacular shots. But lo and behold crocodile lifted the head with mouth wide open and a deer body tossed between his jaws. Coracle was moving fast with the current in the river and the croc was moving as well against the current, taking pictures was very difficult in the moving boat, Capture Date 10 August 2023 Dimensions 2273 X 1818 Camera- Nikon Z 9 Camera + Lens Nikon Z 9+ VR 200-500mm Camera + Lens Settings Nikon Z 9+ 500 mm (VR 200 Serial Number 7611307 Exposure 1/1600 sec at f/5.6 Exposure Time 1/1600 sec Shutter Speed 1/1600 sec F-Stop f/5.6 Aperture f/5.6 Exposure Bias 0 EV Focal Length 500 mm Focal Length 35mm 750 mm Lens VR 200-500mm f/5.6E Subject Distance 39.81 m

Indian Elephant April, 2023 Kaziranga National Park, Assam, India Tusker Signal : Wild animals are well oriented with their natural environment regarding availability of food and water. Sometimes they need to explore the other part of forest in search of their bread and butter. Similarly this big tusker as it is evident with respect to the jeeps was crossing the road and giving signals to all the jeeps to stop during a very hot & humid weather in search of water and food.
