Sometimes its not about getting the most sharp image that counts but its the perspective that matters ! This photo is messy & intriguing at the same time, it is a Short Eared Owl which sat patiently behind the thick shrubs & bushes staring straight at me. That one yellow eye stands out so perfectly ! I actually went ahead & cropped the image vertically to make a customized mobile cover & its Awesome !

On a foggy winter morning in the month of December we were wandering through the jungle paths of Sanjay Dubri with footprints of a female tigress scattered here and there. The pug marks were fresh but were crisscrossed confusing the way the tigress has passed. The footprints were very fresh as if she has just passed. After a brief moment of searching, we stopped for the fog to get settled. As the first rays of sun pierced through the woods we saw her slowly approaching our vehicle in the most elegant style possible.

It was stromy weather in Sundarban on 6 oct 2022. That was our last day of 4 day photography tour. Arround 1 o'clock we got fress pug marks that confirmed us that tiger on move. We waited next canel but he didn't come. He crossed the canel through inside and move forward. Quickly we moved another canel but suddenly weather became very stromy. We waited for 3 hours with heavy rain and waves of river. When the rain stoped the king graced us and came out from the jungle and strated his royal dream walk.

Mother Tigers often provide fresh kill to their sub-adult cubs to practice the hunting and survival skills. By the time we reached this grassland next to a huge waterbody, it was very late in the evening. After almost 10 minutes of waiting I saw this young male tiger coming out from the nearby the dense cover and walking straight to a bush. From there it picked up a hidden freshly killed carcass of a spotted deer. The young tiger then practiced the death grip, dragging, lifting etc, which are essentially part of its survival skills horning. This picture was taken while he tried to catch his breath by releasing the grip on the carcass and held it on the front paw in an interesting pose.
