The Rarest of the Rare sightings !???? I've always wanted to sight a grizzly bear with it's cubs, but never in my dreams did I imagine sighting a sloth bear with her cubs which are less than 2 months old and that too in Bandhavgarh ! ( A national park with low sloth bear population) We found this sloth-bear on our very first safari which made it a remarkable one! We initially assumed it to be a male sloth-bear while looking at it from afar , but only when we got closer we spotted 2 cubs holding onto their mother's back since they were unable to keep up with their mother's pace :)

Here comes the THUD! Common Kingfisher beating its catch on to the perch! The bird flew in with the fish in its beak from far away and immediately started to beat it, probably to kill it before tossing it for gulping down. A very special shot for me as I could capture those water droplets with details on the subjects!

It was heart melting to watch this fawn cross the river stream alone during Ranthambore safari. However I was wondering as to why it's parents would have left it alone despite of the possibilities of falling prey to a tiger any moment. After slowly crossing the drain, he disappeared from my eyes and praying for his safety, I went ahead. I know it was against the laws of nature, but still....
