A Brahminy Kite's successful catch quickly turns into a missed opportunity as its prey slips away. It's a reminder that even in the beauty of success, the chance for failure is always present. But the journey itself is worth capturing and cherishing forever. One shot can tell the story of an entire experience, and this image is a testament to that.

After three unsuccessful safaris, the exhilarating feeling of finally spotting a tiger is unparalleled. I captured a photograph of T101 from Ranthambore basking in the winter sun during the afternoon. Tigers typically sleep for 14-18 hours a day and prefer to rest in cooler, shaded areas near a water source to quench their thirst after their nap.
About Photographer
Wildlife/nature travel has always been a passion which I have only been able to follow lately with multiple visits to our national parks. Tigers are my new found love and sheer size and beauty of the animal makes we want to go to the parks time and again. Just leave me with my binoculars in the park, without my camera, I am equally happy!
