Proudly displaying the catch. A Indian darter fishes for it's favourite meal and comes up with a catch. As it works towards getting the angles right to make that gulp easier, it posed for a moment as if to display its medallion of success. Shot at Bharatpur , India.

This picture of Asiatic Lion was shot in Sasan Gir on 22nd December, 2020. During safari my guide got tip off that a lion had made fresh kill of cow. When I reached the spot, it was amazing to see the lion trying to pull its prey to take it inside the forest. After sometime another male lion joined and together pulled the prey deep inside. The tribal people have their homes inside Sasan Gir and take their cattle out for grazing. Hence asiatic lions get easy kill in Gir. Shot with Nikon D750, Nikor 200-500 mm.
