Title: Please save our clan! Hoolock Gibbons, an endangered species, are very difficult to locate and photograph because they are very shy and prefer to stay on tree-tops. After searching for almost an hour outside Kaziranga national park one morning, we located a Gibbon family on the top of some trees, going about their morning routine. Another half an hour's wait turned fruitful as the pair slowly descended on lower branches giving us a memorable sighting.
About Photographer
Ex- CEO of Finolex Pipes, now an ardent wildlife photographer and traveler. Wildlife/bird photography which started as a hobby just four years ago has now become a passion and consumes a significant amount of my free time.
Festival of Lights I used the reflection reflection of decorative diwali lights on the surface of a lake as the backdrop for this shot. While focusing directly against the light yields a sharp contrast between the colours, the combination of the reflection and a longer exposure results in a dreamy bokeh and a blend of all the vibrant colours.

About Photographer
I am an autodidact photographer with good patience and passion towards nature. The journey of photography started with a beginner's camera exploring the aesthetics of nature. Initiated with the love of nature then turned into passion for wildlife photography without my knowledge.
Photography led me to learn and explore the habitats of species in nature and to explore the locations for specific species. I enjoy my passion and love being a part of nature.

2nd one is the Neelgai in the canopy: The Terai region is made of tall sal trees. In the Dudwa National Park, the roads are cut very straight which meet in a center circle. If you park your Jeep at the center, all the five roads are visible like spokes of the Sun. After another round of all the areas without a single animal being sighted, we waited at the center space. The Neelgai came from one side of one of the roads and vanished into the other side, giving me a fraction of a minute to capture the scene!!! Shot with Nikon gear D850 with Nikkor 200-500 mm at Kishanpur Wildlife Sanctuary, a part of Dudwa National Park.

Capture- "A VISUAL POETRY BY NATURE" This is one of my most favourite birds as well as one of the smallest birds found in Indian Subcontinent- SCARLET-BACKED FLOWERPECKER (Male). I captured this Image at a park situated in Barrackpore, India. In this photograph, the bird is present on a Bottle brush flower to collect nectar. The Scarlet, Blue colours of the Bird & the Red flower together have made a great combination & contrast overall.
