Jim Corbett Tiger Reserve 29 November 2021 There is something divine about Panthera Tigris from the pristine forests at the foothills of The Great Himalayas. The wooly coat with an extra dash of orange against a backdrop of bluish hue set up through a meshwork of tall trees nourished by the early morning winter sun seems to be the work of a divine force beyond the comprehension of the lesser beings in us. She jumped onto the fallen tree, stretched her torso, had a yawn baring her canines before settling down on her linear woody throne. Jim Corbett is a quintessential Tiger country, quite unapologetically
One Late evening while returning from my usual birding, saw a purple heron struggling with something in the field. On looking though my camera i noticed it was a keel back snake. Both were fighting each other. For the Heron it was about food and for the snake it was about survival. The heron decided to take off with the snake to some better place leaving me with a suspense of who won the game of nature.
