I am an autodidact photographer with good patience and passion towards nature. The journey of photography started with a beginner's camera exploring the aesthetics of nature. Initiated with the love of nature then turned into passion for wildlife photography without my knowledge. Photography led me to learn and explore the habitats of species in nature and to explore the locations for specific species. I enjoy my passion and love being a part of nature.

Recently we went for a birding tour in Udaipur. When we reached the destination, we heard an unusual sound of a bird from within the reed. While we were trying to identify the sound, a Purple Heron quickly came out of the reed and what we saw then was breathtaking. The Heron's neck was strangled by a Keel Back and it was trying hard to free it's neck. We were watching this holding our breaths with a suspense of what will happen next, but before we could get to the end, the Heron flew back into the reeds and disappeared.

Crazy Crow. I got a chance to frame one of a lifetime drama between the crow and the bar headed geese. A flock of bar headed geese was there roaming around on the sand . All of a sudden few common crows entered into the scene with an intention to disturb their presence. One of the crows started hopping behind them and tweaking their tail feathers . It's message to the geese was as " hey there , who are you intruders , ravaging my territory...!" It adds a humorous touch to the drama.

It was season’s last safari with sense of excitement as like always to find and encounter something from mother nature’s treasure and pinch of despair as well for it was our last safari of the season and we would have to wait for 4 long months to come back again. As we drove through the jungle, soon after few minutes we were gheraoed by the monsoon clouds all over. Though weather was windy and pleasurable but it also meant bleak chances of spotting any wildlife activity. Soon after, with some thunder bursts at a distance it started raining and we were left with no option but to cover ourselves and our camera kits. As the pace of rains slowed, we decided to waste no time and rush ahead in search of some activity. To our delight, we found a pride with a male, two females and 5 cubs in an open area drenched in the first rains of the season with light showers still around creating a magical scene. The sight and next few moments were one of the finest moments of my life to see an entire pride that too with the first rains in the jungle. Mother lioness was licking her cubs drenched in the rain showing her unconditional love and affection also providing warmth in the cold weather. The moments captured were art of nature, with no filters, no special effects but beautiful by itself.

Nived yadav

Indore (Madhya Pradesh)

About Photographer
I still remember my childhood days, when I used to sit for hours - observing the activities of the little ants, the birds and the stray animals. On getting my first Smart Phone - on clicking that first picture that's still behind my eyes, I realised that "Wow, this is something amazing." I could now capture the moments I witnessed and let others see those too. After learning photography basics from mobile, I finally got my first Camera - Canon 700d. What I used to think of as a fun activity had now became my passion. I dived more into this thing and finally started my journey of Wildlife Photography. 8 months back I bought a professional wildlife kit and now ready for unlimited crazy experiences..!!!
